For many the “B” word is scary and automatically makes you feel trapped and limited. Creating a good healthy budget actually does the opposite. When you can outline and prioritize your funds, it liberates you to be in control of where your money is going. We all have something that deep in our hearts we dream of. For some its a vacation, maybe own your own business, or to not have debt. When you realize our innermost desire, you can defend it from your everyday casual wishes. It is possible to have the things you really desire, but you must be the judge of how bad you want it and what you are will to sacrifice to get it. That is where a budget is a great enlightenment. If you no longer view this as restrictive, but a tool to make your dreams come true, why wouldn’t you want it? When creating your budget it is very important be to honest with yourself and to not confuse necessary expenses with your desires. I challenge you to sit down and create a budget for yourself. Then each month track your progress.
